Know The 10 Step Process to the cleanest, healthiest carpet
clean you’ve ever seen!
1. High-Filtration Vacuum
First we vacuum with a high filtration cleaning system specifically designed for super-high performance professional cleaning.
2. Move Large Furnishings
We will move larger furnishings – such as chairs and tables – but for insurance reasons we ask you to move smaller valuable items such as ornaments before we arrive.
3. Pre-Spot Difficult Stain
We will pre-spot your carpet for all difficult stains. Then we will carry out specialist stain removal techniques on stains – or that we know will be difficult to remove using non-specialist techniques.
4. Heavy-Duty Pre-Spray
Next we will apply a heavy-duty pre-spray specially designed to electro-mechanically lift oily dirt and pollutants from your carpet fibres and suspend them floating in an aqueous solution ready to be quickly and safely extracted using our state-of-the-art extraction machines.
5. Truck Mount: Hot Water Extraction Machine
The truck mount, high pressure hot water extraction unit we use cleans much better because it heats water to a high temperature and then shoots the cleaning solution into the carpet at high pressure. This helps to break up the dirt, bacteria and pollens in the carpet. The machine then produces a huge vacuum volume to draw the dirt and chemicals out of your carpet. We bring all our own water and take all the waste away with us, this unit is completely self sufficient.
6. Residue Rinse
We use the extraction machine to flush out the soil using a residue free rinse that helps to retard re-soiling. Thus keeping carpets cleaner for much longer
7. Protective Tabs
Furniture is replaced back onto the carpet with protective tabs and Styrofoam blocks under the legs. Why? Well sometimes the moisture left in the carpet will leach out any colour-stain finish from the furniture leaving a (very difficult to remove) stain on the carpet.
8. Grooming
Where, appropriate we will groom your carpet to leave it in best possible condition. This usually means we run a grooming rake over the carpet to ensure the fibres are tangle-free and as ‘fluffy’ as possible.
9. Carpet Protector
This is excellent choice if you have a busy household or also if you want to ensure cleaner carpets and furnishings for longer. It makes regular cleaning easier and aids in effective removal of spills. Carpet protector does wear off and would need to be re-apply every 12 to 18 months. ( protector is an additional extra if required)
10. Drying
Finally, we’ll use special carpet blowers to rapidly move air around your carpets, is helps to reduce the drying time of your carpets so you can use them much quicker than normal.

Where are Persian/Oriental Rugs made?
The term "Persian Rugs" applies to all hand knotted Rugs produced in Iran. The majority of oriental rugs, among them the finest of their kind, come from Iran. Persian and all other oriental rugs - apart from kelims - consist of three elements, warp, pile and weft.
How are Persian/Oriental Rugs made?
Persian rugs comprise three main elements: the warp, the pile, and the weft. The warp refers to the threads that run the length of the rug. During manufacture these threads are stretched parallel between the two horizontal beams of the loom. Usually cotton is used for the warp, although nomadic oriental rug makers often use wool. With pure silk carpets, the warp is also made from silk thread.
Caring For Your Rug
Here are some basic tips for caring for your area rug:
- Rotate your rugs at least once a year to even out effects of the sun and to prevent uneven wear. Depending on traffic, the rotation may vary from six months to two years. Experts recommend turning the rugs 180 degrees. Consider swapping rugs from one room to another. This may just invigorate your décor, and it will rejuvenate the life of your carpet.
- Avoid constant direct exposure of your rug to sunlight.
- Clean spills right away to avoid discoloration.
- Vacuum a couple of times per week to get rid of loose dirt and bring back life to the fibers. Be sure not to vacuum the loose fringe. Vacuum both the face and the back of your rug. Vacuuming is the best way to clean a rug: hanging it outside and banging it with a broom or stick will eventually ruin it.
- Be sure to use a rug cleaning expert for professional cleaning, especially deep cleaning. Professional carpet cleaning increases the life of the carpeting and improves air quality, reducing allergies and illness.
- As a rug buyer you must keep certain things in mind to get the service you expect from your selection:
- Always lay rugs or carpets on smooth surfaces.
- Cut loose yarns or tufts even with the rest of the pile. Never pull them, as they would have escaped the shearing of the pile in the factory.
- Have holes and tears repaired promptly and by a professional.
- Be aware that the first few cleanings of machine made rugs with cut pile surfaces will produce large rolls of fluff.
- The deeper the pile the more difficult and the more important it is to clean your rug meticulously to the very roots of the tufts, or else fine grit will become entrenched and grind through the fibers at their base.
- Caring for your area rug also involves keeping a coarse mat in front of the door to stop dirt from being tracked inside of the house, and shedding your shoes when you enter. Keep a shoe mat right inside the front door and have family members and guests take off their shoes before proceeding through the house.
