This is a sticky stain on a step on a staircase of our clients. This carpet stain was really trodden in. However, with our special gel and a deep clean the stain was completely removed. Stain removal in itself is an incredible process. However, it is important to realise that there is so much more to it. With some other materials, really thorough scrubbing or cleaning removes stains.

However, with carpets, and especially wool carpets, scrubbing is not an option. If you start to rub or scrub a wool carpet, you will create bobbles and worn areas. These are much more difficult to fix. One of the most beautiful things about wool carpets is their patter nation. Scrubbing the fibres will damage this and it is impossible to fix.

We were invited to deep clean this carpet in Lancashire. This is a short pile blue office carpet that had been neglected and had become grey looking.

Deterioration of any carpet can be slow. This means that it can sometimes go unnoticed. That is, until they are cleaned. Once cleaned the depth of dirt and grime becomes very visible.

This carpet had a bad oil stain on it (as shown on the first image). With our specialist oil removal process and a two-stage cleaning programme we were able to remove all the soiling and the oil stain completely.

It was a stair area and as you can see on the right that the footfall has soiled the carpet to an almost grey colour.
